Does a Booked Benefit Cover Every Night of Your Stay?

Not necessarily. Under the cited terms, some club access awards must be redeemed for the entirety of a member’s stay, so a booked benefit should not automatically be treated as nightly coverage. Breakfast is a separate issue: the Globalist benefit does not add another breakfast when the selected rate already includes one.

What the full-stay rule actually says

The requirement applies to certain club access awards and concerns the redemption’s coverage. A redemption covering only part of the stay would not meet the stated requirement. The exact award therefore needs to be checked; the fact that a benefit was booked does not, by itself, answer whether every night is covered.

Why the selected rate matters

Breakfast should be assessed against what the selected rate already includes. Under the cited terms, the Globalist breakfast benefit provides no additional breakfast beyond that inclusion. A rate that already includes breakfast should therefore not be treated as gaining a second breakfast through the status benefit.

What still needs confirmation

These provisions do not create a blanket rule for every booked benefit. For a specific stay, the traveller still needs to confirm:

  • which award was booked;
  • whether the full-stay redemption requirement applies to that award; and
  • whether the selected rate already includes breakfast.

Any claim that another booked benefit covers every night must be checked against its own written terms rather than inferred from the two rules above.
